green thumb

Thursday: drove down to PHX and the bf and I watched some movies and TV shows. It was a niice night. We did some house work and got the pool cleaned and the hot tub working, YAY! We were really xcited_ we jumped right in.

 

Friday: Went to Costco. Boy, do we love Costco. We spent over $350 there, or more like "he" spent that much there. We got sunblock, booze, other various alcohol and mixes, food (including a pack of four $35 thick steaks that he considers to be as big as my face lol) and other items. It's amazing how much time one can spend in one store. Went miniature golf at Golfland. we hit the hot tub for the rest of the day and drank ourselves to a good night.

  

Saturday: Went to see bf's family and get BBQ tools. Went to supermarket to pick up other veggies and marinades. Prepped for BBQ and pool with drinks. Started with Bloody Mary's then Margaritas, etc. We don't have a patio set so we used a KATCHAKID as a tabletop. LOL. I feel like the name of this pool net cover is a bit disturbing, don't you?

Sunday: Did my homework and turned in by e-mail. Went to mass. Tried to go to the Potato Barn to do some furniture shopping, but it was closed... tear. Went shopping at Santan village. Perused through a patio furniture store. Bf might buy an umbrella from there... still thinking about it. (I really liked the one he chose, it reminds me of a sharp neck tie. He has such great taste). Got a new bra at Victoria's Secret. They always send me into their store with a free underwear voucher, and then I always am tempted to buy a new bra with it as well...

After shopping we then went to the local nursery to pick up some flowers and veggie plants. We planted them, however, I really don't have much luck with plants, I really don't have a green thumb... We'll see how these hold up.

Today: I just ordered this book on Amazon. I've been wanting it after I had skimmed through some pages at Borders awhile ago. It seems pretty funny. I had to get it.
