steaks and S'mores

today the bf and i are throwing a bbq w/ some of our friends coming over. i'm so excited. i just started up the tiki torches. 

we went to my school's spring fling fair... i've never been and heard it was the biggest student run fair in the U.S. so i had high expectations... but really, it was a bust and not worth what we paid for in parking. we stayed there for not even 20 minutes.

ended up meeting our couple friends and eating at BJ's...

we're now prepping for the night:
- tortilla chips
- peach mango and spicy bell pepper salsas
- veggie shish kabobs
- mash potatoes
- premium steaks
- filet mignon wrapped in bacon
- marshmellows, hershey's chocolates and cinnamin graham crackers
- mint n' chip ice cream

and yay, we're going to use my fire pit finally. and we'll start up the fire with my hand-made kindle logs. (p.s. went to a log lot and boguht mesquite log pieces- it smells great) lol.
