oh shoot, a practice run

We're taking our engagement photos this coming weekend and we're so excited, and to be honest - a bit nervous! Thank goodness we did a practice run for an hour with an amateur photographer last weekend. It was really difficult to get comfortable. How do you get comfortable in a crowded setting and a photographer shooting away (therefore creating a reason for everyone to stare)? With all the beautiful Pinterest images that I've pinned, they all look so carefree and natural... I however, am not photogenic when it comes to candids, all I want to do is look at the camera doe-eyed and smile. By the end of the day, we went to a park nearby, a little more secluded than Old Town Orange, but still crowded and took some more photos. That was a much more enjoyable experience. I will share those photos in another time, but for now, here are three engagement photos that we took in front of the fountain.
