On another note:
It was really nice to be able to eat fatty foods this weekend... I pretty much been eating cardboard with all the healthy foods I eat over the week. Flaxseed wheat tortillas with swiss cheese, and etc... not so much flavor as I'd hoped for... and with all this working out over the week, my abs, butt, legs and arms needed a much deserved break. Funny thing is that I started noticing results when body took a break from working out. And although I actually gained four and a half pounds over last month (mostly muscles), my BF says he's noticed the changes and he called my stomach tiny this past weekend. It's not that I want to get skinny, I just want to get toned and strong! And maybe you can see it... but I have some new abs on top... yay~ I'm pretty proud actually.

{HALLOWEEN 2009}
{THIS MORNING}
I can't say that I'm where I want to be yet with my body, but i am proud to have gained some of my abs back...and hopefully flattened the buda-belly a bit... I use to have a nice stomach four years ago... but then again... I was also younger four years ago. My plan is to use my blog also as an inspriation to work out. Looking at my new Shape magazine, my current inspiration is LeAnne Rimes~ look at those rock hard abs on that last pic! sigh* one day...
Oh, and we gave Bailey a bath in the sink this weekend and since it was sooo hot, the BF let him air-dry by the swamp cooler for a bit... he looked like he enjoyed it at first, then it was getting too cold so we took him down.

Awww. Bailey roo! <3
ReplyDeleteYour stomach looks GOOOD!!! Much better than my flabby britney belly! I dunno what your worried about. anyhoo - too bad I'm not a big fan of carrot cake - but it looks quite tasty!
Crap. You're seriously motivating me... ! And I just had 3 slices of pizza. Damn. Does it make it better that I had vegetarian pizza?
ReplyDeleteI turned pesco-vegetarian a few months ago and starting eating really healthily (well, most of the time :P), and I gotta say, ridding my diet of meat makes me feel "lighter" after meals... not necessarily physically, but after meals I don't feel "heavy" and lethargic anymore. Maybe you should go a couple weeks without meat and see how you feel after? I mean, I'm not some crazy pesco-vegetarian who's trying to convert everyone. But give it a go and see what happens... ? :)

Uh.... trade ya bellies! Haha but seriously, I'm impressed. I've never had a toned tummy, nor have I really WANTED one (relatively non-chubby is good enough for me), but now I kinda wish I was doing crunches every morning. Compared to yours my tummy is a lump o' dough!
ReplyDeleteWow I loved reading this post , you actually got me quite motivated to try and eat healthier. Your abs are looking quite tempting as of now.
ReplyDeleteOn another note let's stay in touch. If you'd like to keep tabs on me via bloglovin or google friend connect, I'd be happy to return the favor. :)
